Aloha and Welcome to ASWA Hawaii!

Many of us are busily working on taxes and calendar year end audits, but March provides us with a little respite this year. We have a holiday on March 21st for Good Friday and a holiday on March 26th for Kuhio Day. These days off should give us a little energy boost to charge forward to our April tax deadlines.

These days it seems as if time moves so fast. Tax deadlines are approaching. Our children are on Spring Break and only a few more weeks of school are scheduled before Summer Break arrives. Where does the time go?

Our Nominating Committee of President-Elect Makiko Tsui, Chapter Development chairperson Grace Morioka and I have been having many conversations with Chapter members about being on next year’s Board of Directors and we have an excellent slate to present at our March meeting. I want to thank this year’s Board for their diligent attention to Chapter business. Some Board members will stand for election for next year and we will have some new Board members too.

Next meeting: April 22, 2008 - Annual Business Meeting. Please join us at our April meeting to vote for our new Officers and Board of Directors.

Meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Plaza Club. Registration at 11:30am and meeting at noon.
